FREE “KIDS CLUB” RETURNS TO SERRAMONTE CENTER
Fun and Educational Program for Students Kicks-Off March 18
Daly City, Calif. – (March 6, 2008) Serramonte Center is pleased to announce the return of its “Kids Club,” a free, fun and educational after school destination for students that will take place once a month at the shopping center. The first event in the series, “Just Bunnies,” will take place Tuesday, March 18, and will feature a festive musical performance from the Easter Bunny, along with plenty of Spring-themed interactive fun and games!
The second Kids Club event will take place on Tuesday April 22, which is Earth Day, and will focus on ways kids can celebrate and help Mother Earth. Kids Club will take place on one Tuesday a month at 4 p.m. (with exceptions and subject to change – check Web site www.serramontecenter.com for full schedule) in the Grand Court through the end of the year. Themes will range from a circus celebration to pirate treasure hunts and Halloween to a breakfast pajama party with Santa! The Kids Club is for children twelve and younger.
“We had great success with a similar program named ‘Kids Camp’ in the past and we are very excited to be bringing a bigger and better program back to Serramonte for all the students and parents in our community,” said Serramonte Center General Manager Dick Bartlett. “The after school program will provide a place for kids to come and socialize in a fun, safe and educational environment.”
Kids Club events will include festive, interactive performances with singing and dancing, games, crafts and fun learning opportunities. Each event will help teach students all about music, culture, art and even etiquette. All kids that sign up will receive a membership card that is good for discounts throughout the shopping center, a birthday gift and free tote bag! Registration is open to all students who sign up with their parents on-site, as a registration release form is all that is needed. Kids Club is presented and run by Guggenheim Entertainment.
